JOIN THE NEVER ALONE MOVEMENT

Every patient deserves access to at least one loved one, every day—even during a public health emergency.

In 2020, patients across America were separated from the people they loved during some of the most frightening and vulnerable moments of their lives.

We believe we can protect patients from infection without completely isolating them from family and loved ones.

Families are not visitors. They are part of care.

Family members can provide comfort, advocacy, communication, history, and another set of eyes and ears when a patient is sick, frightened, sedated, confused, or unable to advocate for themselves.

A crisis should not erase that relationship.

What are we working for?

A simple minimum standard:

At least one patient-designated loved one should be allowed meaningful access every day, including during a public health emergency, with reasonable screening and safety precautions.

Why join?

When legislation is moving in your state, we want to be able to tell lawmakers:

Thousands of people in your state believe patients should never be completely isolated from the people they love.

Your name helps build that voice.
